Hey, I’m Sarah - I’m so glad you’re here! I’m an artist who loves making tiny gouache and acrylic paintings. I grew up in Northern California, and have spent my life exploring mountains, beaches, cities, and the countryside of America. These travels and my current residence in the Kansas City area influence a lot of my paintings. I also love reading fantasy novels and enjoy a good sci-fi movie, so there are many fictional references in my work as well.

In 2024 I started Sarah Hillaire Art on Instagram as a way to share my paintings and challenge myself to be more consistent with my art. It has been such a blessing to build an online community of artists, art lovers, and friends.

As a next step in this journey, I’m creating an online gallery to create a new home for my paintings!
